Complete Bounties while farming Monstrous Essences This is the most efficient way of farming Legendaries compared to the rest of the methods below. Note: Even though page deciphering is capped at 3 per day, the rewards can still be redeemed after hitting the cap by repeatedly farming and turning in 10 Monstrous Essences at the Horadric Altar. While time-consuming, it is the best method as it gives a high chance of encountering elite mobs and glorious chests in the open world that also have a chance to drop Legendaries. By far the best and most F2P-friendly way of farming Legendary Gear is by turning in Mounstrous Essences at the Horadric Bestiary for item rewards.
